Academic Penalties

Early Withdrawal

Students who withdraw from a course within 30-days of the course-contract start date may do so without academic penalty. They will not receive credit for the course, and the course will not appear on their Official Student Record.

Mid-course Withdrawal

Students who withdraw from a course more than 30-days after the course-contract start date but before (a) the final day of a regularly scheduled, Grouped-Study Course, or (b) the final day of an Individualized-Study Course will not receive credit for the course, and a "W" (Withdrawal) will be appear on their Official Student Record. A grade of "W" is not assigned a grade point equivalent and does not impact the calculation of GPA.

No Withdrawal

Students who fail to formally withdraw from a course will not receive credit for the course, and a "F" (System Failure) will appear on their Official Student Record. A grade of "F" is assigned a grade point equivalent of zero, and does impact the calculation of GPA.

Withdrawal Not Permitted

Withdrawals are not permitted after the course-contract end date, (including an extended course-contract end date).
